Baby Guinness is a shooter cocktail and is one of the most popular cocktails throughout Ireland, North America and the UK. It’s made with a combination of coffee liqueur, usually Tia Maria or Kahlua, and Irish cream liqueur, usually Bailey’s.
To prepare it, Irish cream liqueur is floated on top of coffee liqueur. Despite its name, this shooter does not contain Guinness.
Its name is derived from the fact that it looks like a small glass of Guinness, where coffee liqueur represents stout and the Irish cream liqueur represents the white Guinness head.
Fill a shot glass almost to the top with coffee liqueur. Top off with Irish cream liqueur. It should float on top making the Guinness ”head” of your shot.
