Classic American Cocktails: Cosmopolitan

Origins

There are at least 33 people who claim to have invented the Cosmopolitan. The most popular theory, with no more evidence than the other 32 theories, is that it was created by Cheryl Cook, the legendary Martini Queen of South Beach, Florida,in the 1980s.

Cook was surprised, so the story goes, by how many people ordered the now classic Martini cocktail just to be seen with the flaming glass in hand.

Best Vodka for Cosmopolitan

We prefer Absolut Citron but Grey Goose is fine.
